Historic Rehabilitation of 12 historic buildings on 16 acres. 8 of the buildings are subject to historic and conservation easements. Preservation consulting performed in collaboration with design-build architect ProCon.
Historic Preservation Consultant
The childhood home of esteemed federal era statesman Daniel Webster, and later home to New Hampshire’s State Orphanage, this imperiled estate recently faced threat of demolition. With ARCove’s rehabilitation guidance in accordance with NPS Standards, this historic campus will be saved for generations to come. The campus is protected by restrictive historic easements held by NH LCHIP and administered by the NH Preservation Alliance. ARCove guided the ProCon design-build team through easement review applications for a historically sensitive transformation of centuries-old buildings for modern-day use. Existing buildings will be repurposed for Veteran’s residential and health care services as provided by Easter Seals.
