Story
Epoch Senior Living partnered with National Development to launch a series of prototypical Alzheimer’s communities based on a household living model designed specifically for individuals with dementia and memory impairment. Institutional infrastructure is concealed behind home-like residential fitouts. Natural daylighting and garden views along wandering paths, with a sequence of deliberate spaces fulfill resident needs. Visual memory cues and controlled acoustics facilitate care. Institutional infrastructure is concealed within a home‐like setting to promote care, comfort and well-being of residents.
