Town Hall, Mont Vernon

The historic Mont Vernon Town Hall sits atop a prominent hill in the center of a rural mountain village. ARCove’s historic assessment, future needs feasibility study, and conceptual design provided a roadmap for restoration and reuse. The results will enable grant funding and town planning. This road map for purposeful reuse will enable the Town Hall to continue as the heart of the community including a restored auditorium for town meetings and performing arts, efficient town offices, and a low-energy building envelope. Restoration will preserve and restore the building’s unique character defining historic features.
